About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Head of AI & Data Science to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning systems that drive real-world impact. This role sits at the intersection of AI, data infrastructure, and strategic business outcomes, with applications spanning health-tech, digital therapeutics, and intelligent data platforms.

You will own the end-to-end AI lifecycle—from data architecture and model development to production deployment and performance optimization—while leading a team of data scientists and collaborating cross-functionally with product, engineering, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Strategy & Leadership: Define and execute the company's AI/ML roadmap aligned with business goals; Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, ML engineers, and analysts; Establish best practices in model governance, evaluation, and deployment
• Machine Learning & Modeling: Design, build, and deploy scalable ML models (forecasting, anomaly detection, risk scoring, etc.); Develop advanced models using structured and unstructured data (time series, behavioral, on-chain, biomedical); Implement robust evaluation frameworks
• Data Infrastructure & Engineering: Architect and optimize data pipelines (ETL, feature engineering, real-time processing); Design scalable data systems for analytics, ML training, and production inference; Ensure data quality, integrity, and observability
• Product & Business Impact: Translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies; Collaborate with product and leadership to define KPIs and success metrics
• AI Systems & Deployment: Deploy ML systems into production with monitoring for drift and degradation; Build automated pipelines for continuous training, evaluation, and deployment (MLOps)

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning / AI Engineering
• Proven experience leading teams and delivering production-grade ML systems
• Strong expertise in machine learning (supervised/unsupervised, time series, NLP, anomaly detection)
• Strong expertise in data engineering (ETL pipelines, distributed systems)
• Programming: Python, SQL; ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost
• Experience with large-scale data systems and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Demonstrated ability to drive business impact through data

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in health-tech, digital therapeutics, or biomedical data
• Exposure to blockchain / Web3 / on-chain analytics / security modeling
• Familiarity with AI governance, compliance, and explainability frameworks
• Experience building AI-powered products from 0 to 1
• Background in forecasting, growth analytics, or revenue optimization
